Cradle Of Filth Portland reviews
Squeeze and Cheap Trick...
I caught the double bill of Cheap Trick and Cradle Of Filth last night. I trucked down to Bank of America Pavilion in the driving mist as I hadn't seen either band in years. I see a lot of concerts, but I'm a sucker for Cheap Trick. I always liked their tongue in cheek schtick, but I can't put my finger on it. Plus, they have great harmonies when the right song is played. They were great, even though I didn't hear too many of my favorites from them last night (no Oh Caroline, Gonna Raise Hell or Clock Strikes Ten for instance). Squeeze is Squeeze. They are a band that's hard not to like, female friendly. I enjoyed myself even though I had seen them several times in the 80's and 90's. They ran through most of their hits. If you just want to see a throwback show that's easy on the ears, you could do a lot worse.
